Our Team
Our team at Tandem Solutions Group Ltd includes staff members with vast amounts of ICT experience, gained over many years, some having started when personal computing was in its infancy. All staff are encouraged to undertake relevant training courses, and are qualified by Degree, Higher National Certificate, City & Guilds, Microsoft Certified Professional, MCSP. Engineers are security cleared and CRB checked. We also fully support the latest National Apprenticeship scheme.
Managing Director
With a background in Software & Systems Development, Darren started developing applications just as the first PC's emerged at the age of 14. Having been involved with the Tandem Group of companies since their inception he keeps an active interest in all areas of the business. Outside of the IT World, he prefers anything that involves adrenalin, such as a skiing, climbing, snowboarding, diving, downhill mountain biking, riding and flying. He's also never been known to say no to a cold pint of lager or a tasty curry!

Technical Director
Tim heads up our Network Support operations and has been involved in IT support and maintenance since the mid 90's. His first computer was a Commodore 64 he purchased in the eighties but he has moved on since then. Still very much hands-on, Tim enjoys getting his hands dirty regularly and keeping his skills honed in all thingsMicrosoft and Networks.
Apart from computers, Tim get's his kicks from his motorbike and Real Ale - but not usually at the same time as it results in a lot of spilled beer, and also likes walking up and down mountains for fun come rain or shine.
Retail Manager
Originally started in Retail in 1976 gained a keen interest in computers after owning an Atari ST1040 followed by an IBM XT Clone.
Enjoys meeting people and being of assistance and value to the customer and company. Outside of work I enjoy Photography, Movies, Music and Motorcycling. Favourite movie, The Big Lebowski. Favourite Music Artists, Joni Mitchell, Linda Rondstant, Jackson Browne, Warren Zevon, all listened to or watched with a Southern Comfort & Coke, or Budweiser with a Italian or Mexican supper.
Web Developer
Tim's experience in commercial website design stretches over a decade. He has a passion for creating beautiful, usable websites which not only deliver for the client but equally as important, the end user. His favourite album is 'Is this it' by The Strokes. He enjoys playing football and badminton and if you would like to buy him a drink...its Jack and Coke with ice.
Web Developer
With years of web design experience under his belt, Ben decided to take the leap into the world of web development and join Tandem in autumn 2009. His enthusiasm and creativeness for web design continually motivates Ben and his colleagues to stay on top of the latest trends and best practices on the web. When Ben isn't developing websites you can usually find him on some pc game blasting his opponents into the next digital afterlife.
